This Thanksgiving we had Andrew’s Family out for dinner. They arrived at 3:00ish in the afternoon. It was good that things were a little slow because the veggie sides in the oven were not quite ready when everyone arrived. We ate and ate and ate some more. We took a break and then we ate some more.
I was up at 6 am to start the turkey. The last several years I have smoked the turkey. This year was one of the most juicy and flavorful birds I have made in the last few years. The rest of the morning was for prepping the rest of the meal until it all started cooking at 1:30.
